Wetland Soils

In the U.S., freshwater sites range from peatlands in the north (MI, MN) to subtropical wetlands in the south (Florida Everglades and St. Johns River), from semi-arid wetlands in the west (Upper Klamath Lake, Oregon) to agricultural wetlands of the Midwest. Estuarine wetlands span the east coast, from Maine to Florida and include the highly urbanized wetlands in the northeast. Overseas, we sample wetlands in Europe (Czech Republic), Asia (China) and South America (Peru). Our work is supported by the USFWS and NSF.
